Charles Kaplan
Charles Kaplan is a founding member and the current Chair of the Museum of Gaming History. He is a life member, LM-115-48, of the Casino Collectibles Association and is a frequent seminar speaker and a contributing author for the Casino Collectible News magazine. He is the webmaster for the ChipGuide and the Museum of Gaming History websites. He started the Caribbean Casino Collectibles Club and the New York Metro Casino Collectibles Club. Charles is the current vice-president, a past president, and held other positions in the Atlantic City Casino Collectibles Club.

Charles lives on Long Island, in the New York City metropolitan area, with his wife Lynne, a Travel Agent. Charles is a professor, teaching courses in Information Technology, at the State University of New York - Farmingdale. Charles is a collector of casino chips, focusing on $1 chips, chips from the Caribbean and Cruise Ship chips. Charles is also an avid tennis player and participates in USTA tournaments.
