Jackie Gaughan Tribute
at the El Cortez
The "Jackie Gaughan Tribute Exhibit" at the El Cortez commemorates Jackie Gaughan's many years and many business interests in
Downtown Las Vegas. Not only did Jackie own the El Cortez, he also had ownerships or Management responsibilities over 9 different
Downtown properties, including Jackie Gaughan's Union Plaza, Gold Spike, Western Hotel, Las Vegas Club, Golden Nugget, Boulder Club,
Club Bingo and Hotel Nevada casino operations. The Exhibit contains numerous artifacts and collectibles from all 9 of those casinos,
and several US Minted coins from Jackie's personal coin collection.
The Exhibit is located on the ground floor of the El Cortez, at the 'Cortez Club' player's club booth.

Exhibits at The National Museum of Organized Crime & Law Enforcement
aka: The Mob Museum
|
The Mob Museum offers a multitude of organized crime and law enforcement exhibits throughout the 4-story structure, a former
Post Office and Courthouse, with a great deal of history of its own, is in constant change of its various exhibits. The MoGH
and Mob Museum are partnered in such a way that when changes at the Mob Museum are being planned, they will contact the MoGH
with a list of items that they are in search of for those changing exhibits. The MoGH then reaches out to the members of the
CCA asking for loans of the requested items. Those items are then loaned to the MoGH and the MoGH then loans the items to the
Mob Museum for a period of 3 years. At the present time, there are just under 30 items on loan to the Mob Museum, supporting
various exhibits that include Gambling in Pre-Castro Cuba, unlicensed gaming operations in New York, and Kentucky and select
items from the early days of gaming in Las Vegas, NV. The Mob Museum charges admission fee for entry.

The Plaza Then and Now
|
"The Plaza - Then and Now" commemorates the evolution of the Plaza Hotel and Casino from its birth in 1971 as the Union Plaza,
its ownership under Jackie Gaughan as "Jackie Gaughan's Union Plaza" in 1992, then its ownership under Barrick Gaming/Tamares
Group in 2004 under the current name, the Plaza. The Exhibit is located on the 2nd floor, just outside the restaurant, Oscar's
Steakhouse, also known as: Oscar's Beef Booze and Broads.

The Guinness World Record of the Largest $1 Casino Chips and Tokens Collection
at Spinetti's Gaming Supplies

This is an Exhibit showing the 2022 Guinness World Record of 2,222 $1 casino chips from 2,222 different casinos from around
the world. The Exhibit includes the chips and documentation from Guinness attesting to the achievement by CCA Member Gregg
Fisher. The Exhibit is located just inside the entrance to Spinetti's, to the right as the store is entered.

The "King of Casinos", the El Rey Club of Searchlight Nevada
at Spinetti's Gaming Supplies
|
This displays the personal collection of El Rey Club collectibles and artifacts of Andy Martello, obtained during his research
of the Club for a book entitled the King of Casinos. The author, who shares the same name as the Club's creator, Willie Martello,
did discover that there was no familial relationship with Willie, but did discover a gaming operation that rivalled any Las Vegas
Strip property of that time. The Exhibit is located in the back room of Spinetti's.

A Collection of "Atomic Nevada" themed Gaming Collectibles
at the Atomic Museum
(formerly the National Atomic Testing Museum)
The Atomic Museum, an affiliated Museum of the Smithsoneon, presents numerous exhibits and display based on several aspects
of Atomic Nevada, like the Nevada Test Site, at which the US Government conducted many above and below ground nuclear bomb
testing. And, Area 51, the storied and secretively rumored US Government site of alien beings and military aircraft testing.
The MoGH displays there showcase 2 displays by the late Steve Palumbo, past MoGH Chairman and display of Test Site and Area
51 related gaming artifacts and collectibles from various, similarly themed casinos, like, the Orbit Inn, Saddle West, Pioneer
Club, Atomic Club, Oasis Club, Riviera Casino, Four Queens Casino, Las Vegas HILTON Casino, Indian Springs Casino and the Lone
Star Casino of Tinian Island.
While the Atomic Museum has an entry fee, access to the MoGH displays are in the lobby and therefore available to the public
during open hours of the Museum.
